Albert Samuel FRY
Albert was born at Riwaka near Nelson.
He married Hannah Thirwell (born in Australia in 1874) at Victoria, Australia in 1899.
They had two sons, both born in NZ.
Albert started as a farm labourer in Riwaka around 1896. He must have moved to Australia shortly afterwards and then returned to Motueka around 1900.
In 1905 he was in Inglewood as a Salvaion Army officer. Around 1910 he was in Levin and then 1911 in Cambridge.
In 1912 they shifted back to Australia. Albert served with the AIF in WW1.
