Walk of Fame

The Walk of Fame is a series of plaques in Oxford St, Levin, to commemorate those people of distinction who were born, or educated, or lived for any length of period, or who died, in the Horowhenua. There are three categories of people, those:

  1. who represented New Zealand in any sporting activity;
  2. who has international recognition that reflects well on the Horowhenua region;
  3. who would be recognised as adding to the heritage of Horowhenua;
  4. who would be recognised for outstanding service in any conflict New Zealand was involved in.
