Charles Bertram EASTHER
Charles was born at Bundaberg, Australia.
He immigrated to NZ arriving in Mar 1900.
he was in Dannevirke as a journalist. He moved to Levin and must have set up a shop as he was adjudged bankrupt in 1904. He then became a commission agent before going farming in Levin from at least 1911 through to 1919. He then moved to Morrinsville, still as a farmer.
He married Katherine Duncan (nee Saxon, born at Feilding in 1875) in 1920. Her husband, Arthur, appears to have moved to the USA, date not known.
She had one daughter.
Charles & Katherine did not have children.
Charles signed the "Yes" petition in the Levin township petition.
