David Cuthbert BRAID (Jnr)
David was born at Wellington.
He married Mabel Andrews (born at Nelson in 1886) in 1914.
They had two daughters & one son. The daughters were both born in Levin.
All son-in-laws, Keith Eagles, Claude Anstiss & John Clayton served in WW2, as did their son James.
Claude was killed in the Western Desert in 1942. His widow (Dorothy) married John Clayton who served with her brother.
David was a plumber in Wellington, moving to Levin around 1905. He moved to Petone as a gasfitter around 1922. However he was buried at Tiro Tiro Rd cemetery.
