Frank was born in Leicester, England.
He married Winifred Best in 1928 in NZ. Possibly in Levin as she was recorded as a spinster in Levin in the 1919 Electoral Rolls.
They had two children, however their details are not available.
Frank served in WW1. He was a Cpl in 1st NZEF Engineers, Divisional Signals Corp.
After the war he started as a farmer on the CD farm in Weraroa. By 1928 he was a carpenter living in Princes St, Levin.
He retired around 1963.
