He married Agnes Stewart (born c 1862). The date & place are unknown at this stage.
They do not appear to have had children.
George was a clerk at Weraroa from at least 1896 to 1905.
Electoral rolls show him as an accountant at Ohakune by 1911, then Auckland, back to Ohakune, finishing up in Wellington by 1928.
Agnes signed the "Yes" petition in the 1905 Levin township petition.
