John ANDERSON

It is not known where John was born.
He married Lily Gordon in 1903. They had three sons.
One, John Francis served in WW2 as a Sergeant in 8 Brigade & then as a Lieutenant in 30 Brigade.
Another, Hector, was a Flight Sergeant in 49 Squadron, RNZAF & was killed over Berlin in 1944.
John started work in early 1900's at Ohau as a labourer. He then became a stud owner in Pahiatua, finally settling in Rakaia as an agent.
