Nils was born at Sodakra in Sweden.
He came t NZ in 1903 & became naturalized in 1905.
He married Christina Akenson (born at Upper Hutt in 1855) at Levin in 1908.
They had 5 daughters & 4 sons. One son died in his teens.
The first four were born in Levin.
Two sons, Cyrus & Victor & one daughter, Alma served in the Air Force in WW2 & one son, Doug served in the army in WW2. A son-in-law, Reginald Bickham served in Australia in WW1.
Nils was a builder, starting in Levin and moving to the Waikato, then Auckland form about 1919.
