Robert BRYSON

Robert was born in Inverness, Scotland.
He came to NZ in 1910 and served as a surgeon on the USS Co "Rimutaka" in 1911.
He married Mary Wells (born c 1884) in 1914. At the time he was working at a medical practice in Durham St, Levin.
Sadly she died in 1917.
He then met Elizabeth (born at Dundee, Forfairshire, Scotland in 1880) who was working as the Medical Inspector of Schools in Auckland. They married at Auckland in 1918.
They had three children. The first died in infancy. The other two Mary & William both also became doctors.
Robert was a Levin Borough Councillor from 1917 to 1919.
They both left for a medical practice in Wellington in 1926.
