Two sons, William (Bill) & Thomas & one son-in-law Hugh Campbell, served in WW1.
Thomas died at age 22 from influenza caught whilst travelling to active duty.
Both Walter & Maud signed the "Yes" petition in the 1905 Levin township petition.
