William LOVEJOY

William was born at Uxbridge, Middlesex, England and came to NZ with his parents in 1873.
He married Fanny Turner (born at Feilding in 1876) at Feilding in 1894.
They had one son & one daughter.
The son, George, & son-in-law, Walter Benfell, both served in WW1.
William signed the "Yes" petition for the Levin township in 1905.
William married a 2nd time in 1946, to a widow Edith Melrose (nee De Borte) after Fanny died.
William was a brickmaker & owned his own business in Levin. Around 1922 he became a farmer in Fairfield Rd, Levin.
